Dental Terms That Start With R

1. Radiograph: An X-ray image of the teeth and jaws.
2. Radiolucent: Appearing dark on an X-ray, such as decay or an infection.
3. Radiopaque: Appearing white on an X-ray, such as metal fillings or bone.
4. Recession: Gums pulling back from the teeth, exposing the roots.
5. Reline: Adding new material to the inside of a denture so it fits better.
